Three volumes of the "Old New York" quintet - all are later printings, lacking the "1" on the last page - 7 5/8" H. **"The Old Maid (the 'Fifties')" is not included here.** Dark blue ribbed cloth, paper labels with gold lettering/decoration on spines and front boards, pictorial endpapers. Dust jackets have floral decoration and title blocks on spines and front covers with red lettering/decoration. 1. False Dawn - 143 pp. 2. The Spark - 109 pp. 3. New Year's Day - 160 pp. All books have very light edge wear, small faint erased pencil marks on front free endpaper, very light wrinkling at top/bottom of spine, light dust soiling on top of text block, light toning to fore-edge and bottom of text block - a little more on The Spark, False Dawn has a tiny ink mark on fore-edge of text block. Dust jackets have very light browning on spines and flap-folds - and at top edges of flaps, a few small tears, small chips and tears at top/bottom of spine and flap-folds, light edge wear/wrinkling, False Dawn has a few tiny ink marks on front panel title block. All dust jackets are protected in a mylar sleeve.
