286 pp, 9" H. Bound in full yellow cloth "printed with a design by Richard Beards who also designed the slipcase and title page, and coloured (Edward Lear's) illustrations (for this volume). Red end-papers, yellow decorated slipcase. Decorated throughout with Lear's drawings of incredible beasts, plants and people, including the Jumblies, the Dong with the Luminous Nose & the Owl and the Pussy-cat. Contents: Introduction; A Book of Nonsense (1846); Nonsense Song, Stories, Botany and Alphabets (1871); More Nonsense Pictures, Rhymes, Botany, etc. (1872); Laughable Lyrics: A Fourth Book of Nonsense Poems (1877), Songs, Botany, Music, etc.; Nonsense Songs and Stories (1895). Book is Fine. Slipcase has very minor rubbing.
