Unpaginated (approx. 14pp.), 9" H. B&w illustrations. "In December of 1866 a peculiar 10 cent 'Prince Edward Island' stamp made its appearance in Europe. It was without perforations, printed in black on yellow paper, and the name of the country was misspelled. Those who saw the stamp said that it had 'an unreal look' about it." Interior - clean and tight with no previous ownership marks. Exterior - very light rubbing and soiling to covers, ghost sticker marking on front cover.
