A Scandinavian boy, Per, grows up in the high mountains, dreaming of flying like the birds who are his neighbors. When war comes to his homeland, Per makes an exciting escape to America where he learns to fly so he can help free his loved ones. Light toning to pages, spine is lightly twisted, some light surface paper loss at inside top/bottom edges of boards, slight bump at top of spine, light edge and corner wear. Dust jacket flap is price-clipped, has areas of light browning on inside surface, small piece missing at top of spine, light edge wear/wrinkling, protected in a mylar sleeve.
