Unpaginated, 8 3/8" H. "Little Lulu is the reason why thousands of people open the 'Saturday Evening Post' back end foremost - to laught at her latest antic. Sixty of these amusing cartoons, specially selected for their appeal to children are presented in this book. (N.B. Adults proceed at their own risk.) Here is Lulu, always resourceful, always nonchalant - at a party, in school, with her pals, on Sundays and holidays - smiling, frowning, at the dentist. Here is Lulu at her best - or is it worst?" Previous owner has taped three additional Lulu cartoons on the blank pages at the end of the book. Very light browning to pages and endpapers, previous owner's name in ink on free front endpaper, four pages with a small brown stain in margins, some light soiling due to handling in margin of first picture page, light browning to edges of boards and to edges of text block, 1" tear/damage at top of front hinge, light to moderate edge wear, some faint marks on rear board from old tape that is on the inside of the dust jacket, browning and old glue residue on top 1" of spine. Dust jacket has spine missing, has heavy edge wear, old tape repairs to tears, moderate browning, protected in a mylar sleeve.
