Dark brown endpapers, top edge gilt. Inscribed on second free endpaper: "With the Compliments of / Arthur B. Wood / Feb/10/30". At the time, Mr. Wood was Head of the Actuarial Department and would later go on to become President himself. 15 tissue-covered b&w plates (portraits and company building) plus 12 b&w decorations. The history of the Sun Life Assurance Company, produced to celebrate Mr. Thomas Bassett Macaulay's fifty years of service with the company. Three page leaves have a small fore-edge tear which are archivally taped and two leaves have a small edge chip. Leather has light to moderate edge wear, faint to light rubbing on boards - light to moderate on spine.
