One of the famous "Shoes" books - "Miss Streatfeild has drawn on her inti mate knowledge of the theater for a vivid and authentic picture of theatrical life in Londond today." Page 77 has creases across bottom corner and small area of closed tearing in margin, page 67 has 1/2" tear with small chip in bottom mar g i n , a f e w areas of minor soiling in margins, very light browning to endpapers, very small tear to paper of front inside hinge. Light/moderate edgewear to boards, top edge of textblock very lightly dust stained. Boards have been affected b y da mp a t f o re e dg e, causing faint watermarks and some color migration to small areas of bottom corner pastedowns. Dust jacket is complete, with several small chips, tears, wrinkles at edges (one closed tear 2"), soiling, faint sticker gho st on fr ont c ove r, co lor of fset from boards and some water stains (mainly affecting inside of dust jacket). Having said all this, the front cover is still attractive, the book is very sound, and the inscription scarce. G+/Fair
