Selected letters of Joseph Harris (serving the U.S. government) and Samuel Anderson (serving the British government) during the Boundary Survey from Point Roberts to the Rockies (1857-62) and from the Lake of the Woods to the Rockies (1872-74). Interior - two tiny corner creases, tiny crease at top edge of pages 290-360, otherwise clean and tight with no previous ownership marks. Exterior - two tiny faint marks on fore-edge of textblock.
