63 pp, 16mo (6 7/8" H), hard cover (with pictorial boards), in dust jacket. Pictorial endpapers, charming colour illustrations by Margaret Tempest. " 'Everything was frozen. Even the brook which ran past little Grey Rabbit's house on the edge of the wood was thick with ice.' So Squirrel and Hare and Grey Rabbit and all their woodland friends decided to go skating. What an exciting day they had! And what a shock awaited them when they got back!" Very light browning to pages, crease down free rear endpaper, light edge wear to boards, light browning to edges of textblock. Dust jacket has been price clipped, has light edge wear/wrinkling, two tiny chips, tiny ink line at bottom of spine, a few tiny scuffs on front panel, minor soilin g. Very Good/Very Good
