Dust jacket has light browning at edges and on spine, very small closed puncture (archivally taped) on rear hinge, one very small edge tear, very light edge wea r/wr inkl ing - a lit tle mor e at top of spine, light rubbing, tiny scuff on rear panel, tiny soiling speck at top of rear hinge. " 'After four years of peace', Wallace Reyburn, well-known Canadian War Correspondent and now editor of New Liberty Magazine, has written a very vivid and humorous account of his experiences during the war. (It) contains a lot of personal reminiscences and personal references. Most of the book is hilariously funny and brings out the lighter side of the war but occasionally, (he) inserts a very serious chapter in which he points out that 'some of it was not fun'." Previous owner's name on free front end paper, light browning to pages and end papers, faint erased pencil marks on rear pastedown, moderate browning to edges of text block - small soiling mark on fore-edge and on top of text block, wrinkling at top/bottom of spine, faint foxing marks on rear board, repaired tear at bottom of rear hinge, very light edge wear, small area of colour fading at top of spine. Dust jacket has small and large chips/tears, browning on inside with foxing on inside of rear panel, light fading to spine colour, light edge wear/wrinkling, light rubbing and soiling.
