By-laws include those: To provide for the obtaining and maintaining a Hall for the use of the Corporation of Trafalgar (1881); To Encourage Tree Planting in the Township of Trafalgar (1883); to Authorize the Purchase of the Bronte Harbor and Appurtenances and Other Lands in the Village of Bronte (1899); Respecting Public Morals (1899); To Commute a part of the Statute Labor of the Village of Omagh (1899); For Regulating the Time During which Stumps, Wood, Logs, Etc., May be Burned in the Open Air (1904); To Prohibit the Sale of Liquor in the Township of Trafalgar in the County of Halton (1906); To Grant Certain Privileges to the Nelson Telephone Company (1907); To Restrain Domestic Animals from Running at Large (1912); For Licensing, Regulating and Governing Billiard, Pool or Bagatelle Tables and Bowling Alleys in the Township of Trafalgar (1915); to Appoint a School Attendance Officer for the Township of Trafalgar (1920); etc., etc. The list of Reeves and Deputies at the back has been amended in pencil to update the information on Reeves to 1939, and on the front free endpaper to 1945. Two areas of light soiling in margins of page 43, small split in paper and a few areas of browning on inside front hinge, small crease at top corner of pages 13 to 18, light edge wear to boards, small piece missing at top/bottom of leather spine, tiny scuffs and rubbing on spine, figure 3 in date on spine is faded, boards have areas of slight discoloration, a few tiny foxing marks on edges of text block.
