(The chronological evolution of the firearms found in Canada based on documents and other related material.) Made in Canada. (A Survey of the types of firearms m a d e i n Canada, how they were made, and how to identify and date them.) The Gunsmiths. (Biographical information about 750 gunsmiths, and gun makers who were working in Canada between 1608 and 1900.) Appendices: The Gunsmiths by Location; Se l ec te d Po r ti ons from Documents Relating to the Arms of New France, 1619-1630; The Montreal Armourers Company; Patented and Unpatented. Surface of rear board is tacky causing some light sticking to fully mylar covered dust jacket, slight brown in g a nd wa vin es s t o edges of text block, book slightrly curved. Dust jacket has color offset on inside of spine and rear panel from rear board, light edge wear/wrinkling at top/bottom of spine and flap-folds, light rubbing causing some minor col or l oss - main ly on r ear panel, a few tiny edge tears. Good+/Good+
