Chapter headings: The Port of Quebec; The Island of Orleans and the Beaupre Coast; The North Channel; The Saguenay and Lake St. John; The North Shore from Tadoussac to Pointe Des Monts; Pointe des Monts to Sept Iles; Sept Iles to Anticosti; The South Shore: Gaspe to Matane; Matane to Riviere du Loup; Riviere du Loup to Quebec; Appendices: Wooden ship construction in Quebec - 1797 to 1896; Ship construction at the "Big Davie" yard, 1896 to present; Ship construction at the "Little Davie" yard, 1935 to 1968; Wrecks and Casualties on Anticosti Island, 1690 to present; Arrivals from sea at Quebec, navigation season of 1793. London B.T. Batsford 1954 Second Edition Hard Cover Very Good Good- Lavonia Stockelbach. 
120 pp, 10 1/4" H. Medium blue cloth with silver lettering on spine and front board. 60 lovely tipped in colour illustrations of birds found in the plays and poems of Williams Shakespeare. Each of the illustration pages includes a relevant quotation. The text weaves together anecdotes about the birds with quotations and an Index of Quotations groups them under headings such as: Bird Flight; Bird Lime Trapping; Caged Birds; Doves and Pigeons; Eagle; Goose; Hawking and Falconry; Kite or Puttock; Lark; Nightingale; Owl; Phoenix; Raven; Scamel Gull; Swan, etc. Light waviness to edges of text block, spine is slightly twisted, some light edge wear. Dust jacket has light edge wear - moderate at top/bottom of spine and flap-folds, several edge tears (one with creases) and some very small edge chips, soft edge wrinkling, three areas of light soiling and a very small scuff on the rear panel, light browning to inside surface.
