140 pp, 4to (11 1/4" H). Profusely illustrated with b&w photographs, reproductions, technical drawings. Signed by the author on the half title page and dated 17 July 1985. There are seven other unidentified signatures on the half title page. Harry Watson spent over forty-three years with the Canadian National Railways and, as an avid photographer, recorded the various steam and diesel locomotives, working areas, structures and people of the Spadina Roundhouse. His son, the author, has used them to illustrate the story of an era past but not forgotten. Book very slightly cocked, two tiny dints on bottom edge of front board. Dust jacket has a few areas of very light edge wrinkling, very light browning on spine and rear hinge area.
