179 pp, small 4to, HC. One of the boldest building projects of the nineteenth century was the construction of the Church of Notre-Dame in Montreal. Officially opened in 1829, it was the first major example of Gothic Revival style in Canada. 54 il lus. Very slight fading to spine and board edges. Original printed mylar dj has one chip 1" x 2" at bottom edge of rear panel, one small chip at top of spine, price clipped. VG/VG-
