90 pp, 11 1/8" H. Bright blue spine/corners, cream boards with gold lettering on spine and front board, colour illustration on front board. Pictorial/music endpapers, 11 colour plates including frontispiece (collated), colour decorations on half title, title and copyright pages. Xmas gift inscription on free front endpaper has name and date blacked out. Publisher's original glassine dust wrapper is present, but chipped, torn & browned. It has, however, done an excellent job of keeping the book covers clean and bright and the book is now furnished with a detachable clear mylar protector. A romance set in 19th century New York. Slight darkening to edges of text block, minor wrinkling at top/bottom of spine, very light edge wear, very light browning to edges of text pages opposite colour plates.
