244 pp , 16mo (6 1/8" H), thin burgundy leather over card covers/spine - gold lettering and decoration on spine, top edge gilt - in slipcase. Burgundy endpapers, b&w illustrations, including frontispiece. Comic novel about Mr. Polly who, disatisfied with his job, his wife, his town, takes drastic actions, that although unethical, bring him contentment. Very minor wear at top of spine. Slipcase has minor edge/corner wear.
