Unpaginated, 8 1/2" H. Undated. Dark green cloth with bevelled edges, art deco thistle decoration in black, white titling and black lettering on front board, blind stamped decoration on rear board. Patterned endpapers. A catalogue of R.W. Forsyth, Limited, Glasgow and Edinburgh, manufacturers of regimental and clan tartans, Highland ornament and accessory makers. The main section consists of colour examples of 128 tartans, printed on textured stock. This is followed by 16 pages on tartan rugs, shawls, stockings, etc. with some colour illustrations. Section three consists of 8 pages titled "Highland Costumes (Undress, Semi-Dress, and Full Dress) for Boys & Gentlemen" with colour illustrations, followed by a section on "Highland Accessory & Ornament" (12 pages - colour and b&w illustrations). Very light browning to endpapers, inside front hinge paper is split - hinge is holding well, some very light browning in margins of illustration pages - also some light foxing in margins of a few pages, light edge wear to boards - moderate at corners, wear and some fraying to cloth at top/bottom of spine, minor bumps to corners, some light loss of color on front board title, very light rubbing, light browning and some light soiling to edges of text block.
