119 pp, oblong (5 3/8" H x 7 1/4" D). Charming b&w drawings by the author. No date, but circa 1920. Contents: The Gold Egg; The Little House; The Cock, the Cat, and the Fox; The Fox and the Pot; The Crane and the Heron; Snowflake; The Bun; The Lame Duck; Mr. Samson Cat; The Dog and the Wolf; The Crow and the Lobster. Tiny piece of old tape on front free endpaper, two small areas of light browning on front pastedown, a few very small areas of discoloration on rear board, light rubbing and a small area of foxing on front board, light edge wear, wrinkling at top/bottom of spine, small area of soiling at top of spine.
