Two piece article about Mencken from Vanity Fair, December 1927, laid in. Two inch tear archivally taped at top of free front endpaper hinge, light wear at top/bottom of spine and at corners, small tear at top of spine and tiny tears at bottom of spine, light browning to fore-edge and bottom of text block, very small bump to bottom edge of pages 17 to 24 - three page leaves with very small tear archivally taped, slight color variation on boards, some fading to color on top of text block.
