128 pp, 11" H. Red cloth with gilt lettering and blind stamped decoration on front board. Charming b&w illustrations by "Baz" throughout. No date, but Xmas inscription on front paste down is dated 1940. A collection of 85 nursery rhymes and children's songs with music notation, including: Baa, Baa Black Sheep; Dickory, Dickory Dock, Frog He Would A-Wooing Go; Georgie Porgie; Goosey, Goosey, Gander, Here We Come Gathering Nuts and May; Hey Diddle Diddle; Hot Cross Buns; I Had a Little Nut Tree; I Love Sixpence; Jack and Jill; Little Bo-Peep; Little Jack Horner; Little Miss Muffet; London Bridge; Mary Mary Quite Contrary; The Mulberry Bush; Oh, the Noble Duke of York; Old King Cole; Oranges and Lemons; O Where, O Where is My Little Dog Gone; Pop Goes the Weasel; Ride a Cock Horse; Simple Simon; Sing a Song of Sixpence; There was a Crooked Man; Three Blind Mice; To Market, to Market; Twinkle Twinkle Little Star; Early One Morning; Polly Oliver; Where the Bee Sucks, etc., etc. Light browming on free emdpapers, previous owner's name, a very small ink offset mark from Xmas inscription, and a few tiny foxing marks on front free endpaper; light wrinkling at top/bottom of spine; light edge wear; a few small edge dents; a few tiny scuffs on front board; crease/paper tear (glued) at top corner of front board - slight bump at other cormers; very small liquid mark on rear board.
