171 pp, 9 7/8" H. Medium green cloth with gilt lettering on spine, gilt and dark green decoration on spine and front board. Green endpapers. B&w illustrations. Dark green slipcase. A semi-autobiographical novel, recounting the adventures of a family of five English sisters staying in a hotel in Chateau Thierry, France, in the early 1920s. Romance, relationships and bank thieves occupy the girls as their mother recovers from a serious illness. Tiny dent on side of slipcase.
