192 pp, 8 3/4" H. Blue cloth with gilt lettering on spine. "War Economy Standard" paper. B&w photographs. The author's personal narrative of life as an RAF pilot in Burma during the Second World War. Christmas (1946) gift inscription in ink on free front endpaper, a few small light stains to edges of text block, areas of light waviness to pages, darkening to top of text block, slight lean to spine, light fading to spine colour and lettering and at top/bottom edges of boards, small light corner bumps, small bump at top of front hinge area.
