A prose guidebook (i.e. without maps), detailing a number of canoe routes in Southern Ontario & Quebec, with additional advice on trip planning, equipment, clothing, food, etc. Contents: A Variety of Trip Combinations (From Provincial Parks); Symbolically Speaking (Abbreviations describe routes); North Bay Forestry District (Its border waterway); Pembroke Forestry District (Algonquin Park routes); Lindsay Forest District (In Central Ontario); Trent-Severn Waterway (From Lakes Ontario to Huron); Rideau Waterway (From Ottawa to Kingston, 125 miles); Tweed Forestry District (In the Mazinaw region); Quebec Province (Cradle of Canadian canoeing); Boy Scouts (Quebec Provincial Council - For Scouters); Acknowledgements (Assistance from many sources). Interior - small soft bump to top corner of first half of pages and a soft large crease at top corner of last half of pages. Exterior - soft corner creases, very light wear on spine and at corners, two small light stains on fore-edge of text block.
