132 pp, 9 7/8" H. (c1925). Buff coloured boards with red lettering and decoration on spine and front board, map endpapers, 20 b&w and colour plates. Follows the adventures of Yvette (aged 14), her friend, Marietta (aged 13) and their guide and friend, The Painter, as they journey through Swizerland - interleaved with stories about Queen Titania and her Palace (as built by Mr. Wilkinson). Contents: Prologue; One Morn in May; The Arrival; Marietta's Chapter; The Journey; Yvette's Chapter; Lusmore's Trefoil; The Grand Chalet; A Page of History; Oberon's Peacock; Marietta's Second Chapter; Titania's Palace; Zermatt; Waterfalls and Music; Yvette's Second Chapter; The Gnomic Theory; The Merriest Music; Epilogue. The form at the back of the book for membership in the Companions (Boys) or Rose-Maidens (Girls) is present and attached. Gift inscription at top of half title page, small bookstore stamp on free rear endaper, light wrinkling at top/bottom of spine, minor edge wear. Dust jacket has some light edge wrinkling, small chips/tears - mainly at top/bottom of spine and flap-folds, Light browning - mainly on spine and at edges, light soiling, protected in a mylar sleeve.
