172 pp, small 4to (10 1/4" H). Dark green cloth with silver lettering/insignia on front board. B&w photographs. "Kim Beattie's book 'Dileas' takes the history of the 48th to the year 1956. This present book, a more informal work than Beattie's monumental record, picks up the story in 1956 and carries it forward to 1991. However, for the benefit of readers not familiar with the 48th's founding and its early years, the first two chapters recount the pre-1956 history of the regiment in abbreviated form." Minor wear at bottom of spine.
