Elsie Turnbull's first book 'Topping's Trail', "told of Trail's (British Columbia) first years from the time Fritz Heinze built his smelter on Trail Creek Landing in 1895 until the consolidation of the smelter with a number of producing mines in 1906 formed the Consolidated Mining & Smelting Company of Canada Limited. This present book tells the story of Trail over the next forty years, from 1906 until t h e end of the second World War, a period which laid the foundation of a successful and far-flung Canadian Enterprise." Interior - clean and tight with no previous ownership marks. Exterior - very minor edge wear and rubbing. Very Good+
