ISBN 0969070373 Pictorial endpapers, profusely illustrated with b&w photographs, maps, reproductions, technical drawings (some fold-out), colour photographs. "....tells the story of the 1815 Sab es built under licence by Canadair in Montreal. The story starts in the immediate post-war years, when plans were made to complete 100 aircraft. The program soon gained momentum, reaching a production rate of two a day. Both Canadiar Sab r e s a n d R CAF pilots served with the USAF in Korea. The RCAF's first Sabre squardrons were formed at St. Hubert, Uplands, North Bay and Bagotville, then moved to the U.K. at North Luffenham and finally to the Continent. Their story is enlive ne d wi t h de ta i ls from the squadron diaries and the memories of those who were there...." Slight waviness to fore-edge of textblock, light browning to edges of textblock, light wear to bottom edge of boards, wrinkling at bottom of spine, ghos t s ti cke r ma rk and a fe w very small areas of surface paper loss on free front endpaper. Dust jacket has light wrinkling - mainly at top/bottom of spine, small area of tiny dints/scuff on rear panel, minor rubbing, minor browning. Very Good/ Very Go od
