From the Foreword, " Many books have been written about the Battle of Britain and most have failed to appeal to the general public, being too long or too technical. Barry Winchester avoids these mistakes and, by his new approach to the subject - i.e. a mixture of verse and prose, has written a most readable and entert aining book." Appendices: 1.
