64 pp, soft cover (stapled in wraps). "The boy who was destined to become a major witness to the crime at Hardcastle's Oxford Street department store, was a ten-year-old, tously-headed youngster of the genus urchin, with green eyes, freckles, a wiry-thin frame, knock-knees under tattered jeans and a cynicism in advance of his years..." Interior - pages browning lightly, first few pages have small punch holes in gutter - from manufacturing process, otherwise clean and tight with no previous ownership marks. Exterior - very light edge wear - a little more on spine with short closed tears at top/bottom, front cover has faint writing indentations, and both covers have soft wrinkling, spine has light wrinkling. VG-
