For both readers of 'Punch' and the 'News Chronicle' who know Thelwell, and those who have not met him before, this book is a savoury at all times - but especially after attending a gymkhana." This mixture of personal and professional reminiscence is rich in anecdote and makes a lively and often amusing story. It is accompanied by a wide range of colour and black -and -whi te i llus trati ons.
