628 pp + 2 pp "Corrections of Misprints in Finnegans Wake", 8vo (8 3/4" H) hard cover (red cloth with gold lettering/banding on spine, maroon stained top edge) in dust jacket. Previous owner's signed bookplate on free front endpaper, small light fi ngerprint in margin of page 61, slight waviness to fore-edge of textblock, light shelf soiling on bottom of textblock, slight fading to colored top of textblock near spine, very light browning to fore-edge and bottom of textblock, light wrinkli n g a t top/bottom of spine, three tiny soiling marks/specks on fore-edge of textblock. Dust jacket has a few small chips and tears - mainly at top/bottom of flap-folds and spine/hinges, light to moderate edge wear/wrinkling, some darkening to sp in e w it h a few faint scuff/rub marks. Very Good/Good

It is therefore uncompleted, and ends at 1903; but, as it stands, it gives a very ful l account of the brothers' boyhood and youth in Ireland that could have been written by no-one else and suggests the relationship between them that continued in Trieste until the first World War...his account of their family life in Dublin is m o v i n g and revealing, though often told in bitterness..." Interior - previous owners name on first page, one small dog-ear crease, otherwise clean and tight with no other ownership marks. Exterior - light edge wear, soft corner crease. VG
