Looks at the customs of England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales, arranged in calendar order and including, among many others, New Yea r's Day, St. Valentine's Day, Palm Sunday, Good Friday, Easter Monday, May Day, Eel Fair, Flitting Day, Royal Oak Day, Midsummer Eve, Eccles Wake, St. Modwen's Day, Hallow Eve, Gunpowder Plot, Christmas, Holy Innocent's Day, etc. etc. Interio r - p r evious owners label on front pastedown, pen scribbling on most of free front endpaper, soft creasing at top corner of pages 99 to 116, very small light stain at top of rear inside hinge. Exterior - light edge wear, very light small soilin g m ar k s on edges of textblock, light wrinkling at top/bottom of spine, spine lightly concave. Good.
