The author recounts his WWII experiences, from early training in Ottawa and Toronto, t o his duties with the 4th Field Regiment at Normandy, and in Belgium, Holland and Germany. A soldier's view of the battlegrounds that puts the reader on the front lines. Very slight wrinkling at top/bottom of spine. Dust jackets have some ver y m i nor edge wear/wrinkling.
