48 pp, 8vo, HC in dust jacket. Profusely illustrated with monochrone drawings by Vee Guthrie. "As Little-Big ('very little, but big, very big in our hearts') grew older, he learned many things. Chief Thundercloud taught him to see the wonders of the forest and to hear its sounds. Little-Big was happy except for one thing. He was lonely. He decided to look for a playmate. Where his search leads him is 'The Story of Little-Big'." A few scattered light smudges, otherwise sound with no pre vious ownership marks, Light edgewear to boards, small bumps to top corners, light soiling. Dust jacket is basically complete, but has tiny chips, tears up to 2 1/4", browning, soiling, slight fading to spine color (lettering still very leg i b l e ) , w rinkling, moderate edgewear - now protected in mylar sleeve.
