152 pp, 8vo (8 3/4" H), soft cover. B&w illustrations. A collection of articles, previously published in The Sherbrooke Daily Record from 1951 on. These articles recount life in the Eastern Townships of Quebec and include memories of railroads, w eddings, the maple sugar industry, country doctors and nurses, churches, schools and school teachers, etc. Interior - light browning to pages, small closed tear with crease at fore-edge of first three pages - archivally taped, otherwise clean a n d t ight with no other ownership marks. Exterior - browning to edges of textblock, very light edge wear on spine. Very Good-
