"(The purpose of this book) is to trace the gensis of the war through all the antecedent stages up to its actual outbreak, with especial ref erences to the policy pursued by Great Britain, for which during the nine preceding years (the author, Prime Minister of England, 1908-1916) had a large measure of responsibility." Book is lightly cracked at two places, darkening to top of t e x t b l o c k, light shelf soiling on bottom of textblock, minor edge wear, light wrinkling at top/bottom of spine, minor soiling on front board.
