192 pp, 8vo (8 3/8" H), hard cover in dust jacket. Red, black and white illustrations/maps by the author. Written for the younger reader, this book covers five battles/campaigns - the Battle of New Orleans, two in the Civil War, and one each from the Zulu and Crimean wars. "....brings the men and campaigns of these nineteenth century conflicts vividly to life." Minor browning in margins of pages, very light browning to fore-edge and bottom of textblock, very light edge wear, light wrinklin g at top/bottom of spine. Dust jacket has moderate edge wear/wrinkling at top/bottom of spine - light elsewhere, light browning at flap-folds and edges, two 1" tears archivally taped, light fading to spine color, small ghost sticker mark o n f r o n t p anel. Very Good/Fair
