170 pp, small 8vo (7 3/4" H), hard cover in dust jacket. "....a fast-paced and skilfully-told story. The time is that of the second Riel Rebellion, the place is the open range and the foothills of Alberta, roughly Calgary, Lethbridge and south. T he people are as fascinating as they are alive, all made for adventure, and a living part of their environment...." A few pages with a tiny crease at bottom corner, light edge wear to boards. Dust jacket has light edge wear - moderate at top/bot t o m of spine, light edge wrinkling, a few tiny chips/tears - mainly at top/bottom of spine and flap-folds, slight fading to spine, very light rubbing on rear panel. VG/G+
