The British desperately needed a tool that woul d warn of bombing or U-boat attacks. Here, for the first time, is the complete drama of the secret race to develop radar, told in the words of one of the key players. Cigarette odor, small bump at corners and at bottom of spine, light wrinkling a t top of spine, minor browning to edges of text block. Dust jacket has light rubbing, wrinkling at top/bottom of spine and flap-folds, minor edge browning. Very good-/Very Good
