Each article individually paginated, 8vo (8 1/2" H), hard cover (dark blue cloth with gold lettering/border on spine, blind embossed borders to front and rear board and gold 'CS' on front board) - no dust jacket. Contents: 1, Spanish Narratives of the English Attack on Santo Domingo 1655. Transcribed and translated from the original documents in the General Archives of the Indies and edited for the Royal Historical Society. 2. Embajada Espanola: An Anonymous Contemporary Spanish Guide to Diplomatic Procedure in the Last Quarter of the Seventeenth Century. 3. The Will of Peter de Aqua Blanca Bishop of Hereford (1268). 4. The Ransom of John II, King of France, 1360-70. 5. Historia Siue Narracio de Modoet Forma Mirabil is Parliamenti Apud Westmonasterium Anno Domini Millesimo CCCLXXXVJ, Regni Vero Regis Ricardi Secundi Post Conquestum Anno Decimo, Per Thomam Fauent Clericum Indictata. Edited from a manuscript in the Bodleian Library. Interior - light browning and some tiny foxing marks on endpapers, tiny tear on inside front hinge, very light browning to pages, some pages unopened at top edge, one archivally taped small tear on fold-out page, otherwise clean and tight with no other ownership marks. Exterior - light edge wear with a few small edge scuffs, light wrinkling at top/bottom of spine, very light rubbing, browning to top/fore-edge of textblock, fading to spine color. G+
