Publisher   Toronto The Map Specialty Co. 1910

Linen-backed paper map in colour - 2' 9" wide by 4' 3" high - Wellington County, Ontario showing townships: Minto, Arthur, West Luther, Maryborough, Peel, Pilkington, Nichol, West Garafraxa, Guelph, Eramosa, Erin & Puslinch, with Woolwich, Waterloo & Nassagaweya (Halton) as at 1910. Schools, Post Offices, Railway Stations, Steam & Electric Railways, County Roads and Concessions are indicated. A 'Statistics' table at top right gives 'Year first settled', 'Acreages assessed', 'Population' and 'Total assessed value' for selected townships/towns/villages. The paper map was printed in sections and mounted on linen to facilitate folding and plain beige card stock was attached to the front & back of the folded map (folded dimensions approx. 5" W x 8 3/4" H). A previous owner has written 'Wellington County' in pencil on one of the cards. Light edge wear and corner wear, light wear at horizontal folds and a few tiny tears in paper, minor to very small areas of map detail are missing at fold intersections, minor browning to paper. Linen is in good condition with scattered soiling and small foxing marks, one or two larger light stains - do not effect map detail.
