Contents: Foreword; Schalken the Painter; Squire Toby's Will; Green Tea; Wicked Captain Walshaw, of Wauling; Carmilla; The Sexton's Adventure; Madam Crowl's Ghost; Sir Dominick's Bargain; The Vision of Tom Chuff; Ultor De Lacy; Dickon the Devil; The House in Augier Street; Mr. Justice Harbottle; The Familiar. Small contemporary bookseller's label on rear pastedown - "The Holliday Bookshop 49E.49th St., New York". Very light browning to endpapers, minor toning to edges of pages, small label from bookstore on rear pastedown, two small creases at bottom corner of page leaf 287/288, light browning to edges of text block - tiny soiling mark on fore-edge, light wear and wrinkling at top/bottom of spine, minor edge wear to boards, minor rubbing on boards, small shallow dent on front board. Book is protected in a stiff mylar sleeve.
