"(A) guide to one of the most beautiful and diverse places in Ontario, the Halton watershed , which includes the world-renowned Niagara Escarpment, Carolinian forests, Lake Ontario shoreline, creeks, valleys and rich wetlands. The book features 160 spectacular photographs that show how these vital natural landscapes coexist with Burlington, Oakville, Milton, Halton Hills and other communities in the watershed. More than 5,500 hectares of conservation lands protect the unique geological features and environmentally sensitive habitats in areas such as Hilton Falls, Crawford Lake, Rattlesnake Point, Bronte Creek Provincial Park and the Royal Botanical Gardens.
