The author was the founder of the Royal Aero Club (1901) and the first Hon. Very light browning on free endpapers, previous owner's name in ink and faint erased pencil writing marks on front free endpaper, small edge tear on page leaf 259/260 - archivally taped, light browning to edges of text block, very light soiling on top of text block, light edge wear, wrinkling at top/bottom of spine with two tiny tears at top, one small corner bump, scattered small water stains and a few light stains on front board with some color loss - plus a tiny water stain on rear board.
