1061 pp - in two volumes, 9 1/8" H. Publisher's paper-covered cardboard slipcase with title label on side. B&w photographs. Sir Robert Borden's "personal documentation of a remarkable life and astonishing career. From his boyhood days in Nova Scotia to beyond Versailles, the record fascinates, while his influence upon affairs only really ceased with his death." Sir Robert Borden (1854-1937) was Canada's eighth Prime Minister, serving from 1911 to 1920. Very light browning to pages, browning to edges of text block, bookseller store stamp on front pastedowns, minor shelf soiling to bottom of text block. Dust jackets have small edge tears and very small edge chips, moderate rubbing on rear panels, spines have moderate browning, light waviness and very small water mark, a few closed tears on hinges, now protected in mylar sleeves. Slipcase has moderate edge browning, soft crease on top panel and one side panel, small ghost sticker mark on side panel, re-glued at corners.
