173 pp, 8 3/8" H. Signed by author on front free endpaper. A local history of Red Deer, Alberta, and district with much information on early settlers, ranch life, Indians, the Hudson's Bay trading post, etc. Old tape residue on endpapers, small ink stain in margin of page 68, small light stain in margin of page 141, moderate to heavy edge wear, light staining to boards, book slightly cocked, light browning and small/tiny light stains to edges of text block. Dust jacket has old taped repairs - heavy edge creasing, small edge chips and tears, small holes on spine, old tape residue, soiling and rubbing, crease down panels near hinge.
