The unusual prescription of the sympathetic Doctor enables her to su mmon the Sandman whom she accompanies on a round of queer adventures. They make a 'big 'normous' snowball and a funny snow man who comes to life. The trio calls on many new old friends including Miss Muffet whom Felicia reconciles with h e r s p i d e r ; Humpty, whom she saves from the dire consequences of his rash acrobatics; Simon, who explains why he objects to being callled Simple, and the Old Woman who lives in Atchoo and who, with the aid of up-to-the-minute appliances, know s ex a ct ly w ha t to do with a large family. The frolic ends in Mother Goose's Lunch Room when, after many strange incidents, it is suddenly time to go home. And then....Well, when next the Doctor sees Felicia, she is allowed to go out. Dust jacket has chips and tears - some with creases, heavy fading to spine color - lettering still very legible, l ight fadi ng to part s of front panel, ligh t to m oderate edge wear/wrinkling, light rubbing, minor soiling, 1 1/2" irregular shaped hole on rear panel at flap-fold. Good/Fair

A series of poems, printed on one side of the paper only, with decorated monotone borders. Titles: Fairy Weavers; Mother Goose's Party; My Star Garden; The Garden Party; A Woodland Wedding; A Daffodil Baby; A Vaudeville Show; Fire Fairies; The Fairies Ball; Mud Pies; The Moonbeam Fairy; The Sand-Man; The Lazy Daisy; Grandmother's Rose Jar; The 'larm Clock; The Magic Garden; John Pumpkin's Ghost; The Tea Party. A few scattered faint fingerprints throughout pages, light to moderate edge wear - mainly at corners and top/bottom of spine, slight bump to top of spine, small closed tears at top/bottom of spine edges, closed tear in rear side of spine - due to handling when removing book from slipcase. Slipcase has heavy edge wear, one half of top panel missing, light rubbing/scuffs, erased penciled name on one side panel. Good copy in a poor slipcase .
