The book describes and illustrates methods of completely stripping down, cleaning and reassembling the early firearms most commonly met today. Information is given about the making of tools where these are no longer commercially available. Methods of housing the collection are discussed, and a chapter is devoted to the special technique of photographing firearms for the purpose of keeping records."
