576 pp, 16mo (6 1/8" H). Thin burgundy leather over card covers/spine - gold lettering and decoration on spine, top edge gilt, integral ribbon bookmark. Burgundy endpapers, sepiatone illustrations, including frontispiece, decorated title page. **No dustjacket or slipcase.** The story of the orphan, Pip, his encounters with the eccentric Miss Havisham and her ward, the cold-hearted Estella and the unravelling of his 'great expectations'. Very small area of sticker residue at bottom of front free endpaper, faint scuff at bottom of front cover, small ink stain at top edge of front cover at hinge area, previous owner's name in ink at top of title page and at top of first page of text, light toning in margins of pages, light browning to fore-edge of text block, minor edge wear to covers.

478 pp, 10 1/4" H. Quarter bound in deep maroon leather with maroon cloth sides, black leather title label with gilt lettering/border on spine. Gilt borders on front and rear boards, top edge gilt, integral maroon ribbon bookmark. Maroon endpapers and slipcase. B&w illustrations. "The text and illustrations of this edition reproduce those of the Nonesuch Dickens, published in 1937 by the Nonesuch Press - with minor emendations." Book is Fine. Slipcase has small bump at one bottom front corner, tiny dent and tiny scuff on one side panel, small shallow bump to one front edge.

176 pp, large 8vo (9" H) - quarter medium brown buckram series binding, pale yellow paper boards with border in medium brown, pale yellow endpapers. *No slipcase.* B&w illustrations. The last of Trollope's novels to be published during his lifetime (1882). Celia Holt, who has previously jilted Sir Francis Geraldine, marries Mr Western, without telling him of her previous romantic entanglement. Mr Western suspects a closer relationship between the two and her silence, combined with his pride, almost destroys their marriage.
